The Chef’s at Addie’s will be preparing oysters 4 ways– Roasted, Fried, Shucked and Barbequed, as well as BBQ Chicken, Chili, Roast Suckling Pig, Hot Dogs and other seasonal foods. There will be activities for the whole family; they will include an oyster eating competition, face painting for kids, moon bounce, raffle, and live music from Free World Live and the Alan Scott Band. Beer and wine from Republic National Distributing. Rain or Shine.

How do I get to the event?
The event will be held at Addie’s Restaurant located at 11120 Rockville Pike, Rockville, MD 20852. The restaurant is accessible by Metro bus and Metro - a short walk south of the White Flint stop on the red line.
Where is the money raised from the event going?
Black Restaurant Group has set a goal to raise $200,000 to build a new state of the art kitchen that is part of a $5 million expansion at Children's National Medical Center to support children with diabetes.
What is included in the ticket price?
Admission to the event includes unlimited oysters, beer, wine, and BBQ. The ticket price also includes venue to several live bands, Moon Bounce for the kids, and bobbing for apples.
Is this a rain or shine event?
Yes.
What should I bring to this event?
You will need to bring your ticket, your proof of age and I.D., cash, and appropriate clothing for outside November weather.
Is there an ATM available?
There is an ATM available within walking distance of the event.
Is this a family friendly event?
Yes, we will have lots of activities available for children of all ages.
Will there be restrooms available?
Yes, we will have restrooms available outside as well as the normal usage of our restaurant lavatories.
Will the restaurant be open for dinner service on the day of the event?
The restaurant will not be open for dinner service on Sunday, November 14th, 2010 in lieu of the charity event.
